</>What does Ghost Hunt (Haunted Hide and Seek) do?
Ghost Hunt turns Wobbly Island into a haunted hide-and-seek match where one player becomes the ghost and everyone else becomes a hunter. The ghost's goal is to haunt a set of nearby houses before the timer runs out. Each target house is marked by a glowing green wisp over the door. Hover at the house long enough to complete the haunt, and the house lets out a scream while a ghost bursts from the front door and circles the roof for the rest of the round. Hunters carry torches and have to find the ghost before it finishes the job. The ghost stays invisible until a torch beam lands on it, then becomes visible. Keep the beam on it for two seconds and the ghost is banished. There is no simple map marker to follow. Hunters track the ghost through environmental clues: a heartbeat that speeds up as it gets closer, street lamps that flicker and flare when the ghost passes underneath, and footprints that fade moments after appearing. Player name tags and map markers are hidden during the round, so nobody can track the ghost through the normal UI. The ghost can fight back too. Touching a hunter triggers a close-up scare and disables that hunter's torch for a few seconds, creating an opening to escape or reach another house. The entire island shifts into a Halloween night while the mode is active, with a blood-red sky, thick red mist and eerie green street lighting. When the round ends, the world returns to normal. Everyone gets a turn as the ghost, and the scoreboard tracks round wins across the session, making Ghost Hunt a strong party mode for groups that want something tense, competitive and different from a standard race.
</>What is Ghost Hunt (Haunted Hide and Seek)?
Ghost Hunt (Haunted Hide and Seek) is a Wobbly Life Halloween multiplayer game mode built around stealth, tracking, torch hunting and haunted houses. One player becomes an invisible ghost that must haunt a set of marked houses before time runs out, while the rest of the group searches Wobbly Island and tries to banish it. Hunters cannot rely on normal map markers or name tags. Instead, they follow a layered set of clues: a heartbeat that speeds up with proximity, street lamps that flicker as the ghost moves beneath them, and short-lived footprints that reveal where it has just been. The ghost only becomes visible when hit by a torch beam, and hunters must hold the light on it for two seconds to complete the banish. The ghost is not defenseless. Touching a hunter triggers a jumpscare and temporarily knocks out that player's torch, giving the ghost time to disappear, reposition and keep haunting houses. The mode also transforms the atmosphere of Wobbly Island while the round is active, adding a blood-red sky, dense red mist and sickly green lighting before restoring the normal world afterward. With rotating ghost turns and a scoreboard that tracks round wins, Ghost Hunt works especially well for Halloween parties, multiplayer hide-and-seek sessions and competitive group play.
</>Common questions about Ghost Hunt (Haunted Hide and Seek)
How does Ghost Hunt work in Wobbly Life?
One player becomes an invisible ghost and must haunt a set of marked houses before time runs out. Everyone else becomes a hunter and tries to find and banish the ghost with a torch.
How do hunters find the ghost?
Hunters follow a heartbeat that gets faster as the ghost gets closer, watch for street lamps that flicker when it passes nearby, and look for footprints that fade shortly after appearing.
Can hunters see the ghost normally?
No. The ghost stays invisible until a hunter's torch beam hits it.
How do you banish the ghost?
Shine a torch on the ghost and keep the beam on it for two seconds.
How does the ghost haunt a house?
Move to a house marked by a glowing green wisp and stay there long enough to complete the haunt.
What happens when a house is haunted?
The house lets out a scream, and a ghost appears from the front door and circles the roof for the rest of the round.
Can the ghost attack hunters?

No. Name tags and map markers are hidden during the round so the ghost cannot be tracked through the standard UI.
Does Ghost Hunt change the look of Wobbly Island?

What options does Ghost Hunt (Haunted Hide and Seek) include?
Round Length
How many minutes the ghost has to finish its haunting. Four is a good first go - long enough for a proper chase, short enough that the ghost can't dawdle.
Houses To Haunt
How many houses the ghost has to haunt to win. More houses gives the hunters more chances to catch it at a door; fewer makes every haunting a sprint.
Start Ghost Hunt
Start a round. One of you becomes the ghost, the houses it has to haunt light up with a green wisp over the door, and the night turns haunted. Whoever is hosting runs it, and the ghost role passes to the next player each round.
End The Hunt
Call the round off early, with no winner.
Jump Scares
When the ghost catches you, a ghost face leaps straight at your screen with a flash and a scream. Turn this off for younger players or anyone who would rather not be startled - you still lose your torch for a few seconds, just without the face. Each player chooses this for their own screen.
Ghost Hunt adds a haunted hide-and-seek game mode to Wobbly Life where one player becomes an invisible ghost that must haunt marked houses, while everyone else tracks it with heartbeat clues, flickering street lamps, footprints, and torches.
