</>What does Money, Earnings & Prices do?

Money comes in slowly on the Moon. A launch pays for the dust you brought in, a finished sector adds a bonus and a raised flag $100, while the garage wants $6,000 for the mega vacuum rover and the upgrade tree charges for every level. Money, Earnings & Prices works on the wallet your whole team shares. Money Amount is a sum from 0 to 10,000,000 (10,000 to start): Add Money puts that much in, Set Money makes it the exact balance and Keep Money Topped Up never lets the wallet fall below it. Multiply Earnings pays out at Earnings Percent, anywhere from 100 to 1,000 with 200 by default. Cheaper Upgrades and Tools, Cheaper Building, Cheaper Vehicles and Cheaper Station Travel each bring their prices down to Price Percent, 0 to 100 with 50 to start, and at 0 those things cost nothing in game. All of it runs in the host's game, for hosts and solo players. Switch a Cheaper option off and its normal prices are back within a quarter of a second, while money already in the wallet stays where it is.

</>What is Money, Earnings & Prices?

Everyone in a Moon Sweepers shift spends from one wallet, and the host's game keeps it. This mod changes that wallet three ways: Add Money, Set Money and Keep Money Topped Up decide what's in it, Multiply Earnings decides what the work puts in, and the four Cheaper switches decide what comes out. Your upgrade levels, your dust and everything you've built are left alone.

</>Common questions about Money, Earnings & Prices

What does Money, Earnings & Prices do in Moon Sweepers?

It changes the money side of the game and nothing else. Set Money works in both directions, so it can lower the balance as well as raise it, and pressing it with Money Amount at 0 empties the wallet. Each Cheaper switch works on its own, and all four share one Price Percent.

Which payouts does Multiply Earnings raise?

Everything the Moon pays into the wallet. That means each launch, including the extra a launch pays for sand and stone, every finished sector's bonus with any Region Bounty on top, $100 for raising a flag, $250 for surveying a lunar site and up to $25 per vehicle trick. The worth shown for dust waiting to launch goes up too. The host's game does the paying for the whole crew, so a crewmate's dust and tricks are multiplied as well.

What do I get back when I take down something I built for less?

What you paid for it, never the full price. The mod notes what each structure and belt cost while Cheaper Building was on, in a small file in your ProjectMods folder, and holds the refund to that even after you switch it off or reload the save. Undoing belts follows the same rule, and when a machine cuts a belt in two, each new piece carries its share of what the old one cost. Two cases pay back the full price instead: a crewmate taking it down, because their game works out the refund, and taking it down while this mod isn't loaded.

Does added money count toward the money achievements?

No. Money from Add Money, Set Money and the top-ups is taken back off the earned and spent counts, so it never moves Dust Pays the Bills, The Moon Is a Gold Mine or the spending ones. The extra from Multiply Earnings is real pay and counts as earned. Buying at a lower price counts what you actually paid toward Reinvesting in Dust and A Very Expensive Hobby.

What changes for my crewmates?

They share the wallet, so they see every top-up and every multiplied payout. Upgrades, tools, container sizes and vehicle upgrades they buy are charged the host's lower price, though their own game first checks they could afford the full one. What they build, the vehicles they buy and their own teleports are priced by their game, at full price. On a crewmate's game the switches and buttons do nothing, and the reply says why.

What options does Money, Earnings & Prices include?

Add Money

Adds Money Amount to your team's money. Works for the host or a solo player.

Cheaper Upgrades and Tools

The upgrade tree, gear, tools and container sizes cost Price Percent of their price while you host or play solo, crewmates' purchases included. Switching it off brings back the normal prices.

Money Amount

How much Add Money adds, what Set Money sets your team's money to, and the floor Keep Money Topped Up holds.

Price Percent

What the Cheaper switches charge: 100 is the normal price, 50 is half, 0 is free.

Cheaper Building

Buildings and belts you place yourself cost Price Percent of their price while you host or play solo. Removing anything you built for less pays back only what you paid, even after you switch this off; if a crewmate removes it, their game refunds the full price.

Cheaper Station Travel

Your own trips between stations cost Price Percent of the normal $50 while you host or play solo; crewmates' trips stay at $50. Switching it off brings back the $50 fare.

Set Money

Sets your team's money to exactly Money Amount. Works for the host or a solo player.

Multiply Earnings

Dust sales, section pay and bounties, landmark rewards and stunt pay come in at Earnings Percent while you host or play solo. Switching it off brings back normal pay.

Earnings Percent

How much earnings pay: 100 is normal, 200 is double, 1000 is ten times as much.

Keep Money Topped Up

Keeps your team's money at Money Amount or more while you host or play solo; it doesn't count toward the earning achievements. Switching it off stops the top-ups and leaves the money you have.

Cheaper Vehicles

Vehicle upgrades cost Price Percent of their price, crewmates' included, and so do vehicles you buy yourself while you host or play solo. Switching it off brings back the normal prices.

Quick Answer

Money, Earnings & Prices is a ProjectMods mod for Moon Sweepers that adds or sets the team's money, multiplies what your work pays and lowers what upgrades, buildings, vehicles and teleports cost, for hosts and solo players.

System Requirements

OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 / AMD Radeon RX 570
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 2 GB available space

What features does Money, Earnings & Prices include?

  • Cheaper Upgrades and Tools covers every upgrade tree and suit gear level as well as the supply wall's tools and container sizes, and the lower figure is the one the game checks your wallet against.
  • Cheaper Vehicles covers the garage, from the $300 push sweeper to the $6,000 mega vacuum rover, and every upgrade fitted to them.
  • Cheaper Building lowers structures and belts alike, including the cost the builder shows while you place them.
  • Cheaper Station Travel charges the lower fare for each teleport ($25 at the default), although the travel list and the message after a teleport still print $50.
  • Keep Money Topped Up looks at the wallet twice a second and adds only what's missing.

Best For

  • You've reached the garage with $1,800 and the mega vacuum rover costs $6,000. Switch on Cheaper Vehicles with Price Percent at 30 and it's yours.
  • A weekend world with friends where nobody wants to grind the first hours. Set Money Amount to 50,000 and press Add Money before the first launch.
  • Sectors far from the Collector take ages and pay the same bonus as the near ones. Multiply Earnings at 300 makes every finished sector pay three times as much.
  • You're laying out a belt network across three craters. Cheaper Building at 25 makes every belt and machine a quarter of its price while you work it out.
