Download the free ProjectMods desktop app, then install Endless Spellbook (Unlimited Casting) for Pathfinder: Kingmaker in one click.
</>What does Endless Spellbook (Unlimited Casting) do?
Every caster in Pathfinder knows the feeling. You have the perfect spell for the room ahead, and you used your last slot of it on a pack of wolves an hour ago. So you camp. Again. Endless Spellbook takes the whole bookkeeping problem off the table. Switch on unlimited casting and nothing your party uses ever runs down: prepared slots stay prepared, spontaneous slots stay full, wands and scrolls keep their charges, rage rounds and channel energy uses never tick, and the expensive components a few spells eat stay in your bags. If you would rather keep the resource game and just skip the camping, three one-click buttons top your party back up whenever you like. One refills every spell slot on every caster you control, one refills every limited ability use, and one clears the pause between actions so your party can act again immediately in a fight. Unlimited casting only ever applies to your own party, so enemy casters keep their normal limits and fights stay fights. Turn it off at any time and every slot, charge and use goes straight back to counting down.
</>What is Endless Spellbook (Unlimited Casting)?
You have the perfect spell for the room ahead and you spent your last slot of it on a pack of wolves an hour ago, so you camp again. Endless Spellbook takes that bookkeeping out of Pathfinder: Kingmaker, either by stopping your party spending anything at all, or with three buttons that refill slots, ability uses and action cooldowns on demand. A premium mod on ProjectMods.
</>Common questions about Endless Spellbook (Unlimited Casting)
What does Endless Spellbook do in Pathfinder: Kingmaker?
Endless Spellbook stops your Pathfinder: Kingmaker party spending the things they cast with. Switch on Spells Never Run Out and prepared slots stay prepared, spontaneous slots stay full, wands and scrolls keep their charges, limited ability uses like rage rounds and channel energy never tick down, and the expensive components a handful of spells eat stay in your bags. If you would rather keep the resource game, three separate buttons top your party back up on demand instead: one for spell slots, one for ability uses, and one that clears the pause between actions in a fight.
Does unlimited casting apply to enemy casters too?
No, and that is deliberate. Spells Never Run Out only ever covers your own Pathfinder: Kingmaker party, so every enemy caster on the field keeps their normal limits, burns through their slots the way they always did, and eventually runs dry. Fights stay fights rather than turning into an endless exchange nobody can win. The same is true of the three refill buttons, which top up your characters and nobody else's. Turn the switch off at any point and every slot, charge and use on your side goes straight back to counting down.
What is the difference between Refill Spell Slots and Refill Ability Uses?
They cover two different pools in Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Refill Spell Slots tops every caster in your party back up to a full day's worth of spells without stopping to camp, which is the one that saves you the walk back to a campsite halfway through a dungeon. Refill Ability Uses handles everything that is not a spell: rage rounds, channel energy, bardic performance, smites and the rest of the limited class abilities that normally only return on a rest. Use both together and you get the effect of a full night's sleep in two presses.
What does Clear Action Cooldowns do during a fight?
Clear Action Cooldowns wipes the pause your Pathfinder: Kingmaker party has to sit through between actions, so everyone can move and act again immediately instead of standing there waiting out the delay. It is the most situational of the three buttons and the most dramatic in the moment, so press it when a fight has turned and you need a second round of actions right now. It only affects your own characters, which means the enemy side still acts at its normal pace and the encounter still resolves properly.
Should I use the switch or the refill buttons?
It depends on what you find tedious in Pathfinder: Kingmaker. If the resource game itself is what drags, with slot counting, rationed wand charges and a best spell you save for a room that never comes, then Spells Never Run Out removes it entirely and you simply cast whatever the situation calls for. If you enjoy that tension and only resent the camping, leave the switch off and use the refill buttons instead. You still plan your day, you just refresh it whenever you would otherwise have walked back to a campsite.
